The Liquidation Ready Review
A structured commercial review designed for directors whose company is experiencing serious financial difficulty or considering liquidation.
Confidential Director Consultation
We begin with a confidential discussion with the directors. We want to understand what the business does, what has happened, when problems started, current trading, immediate cash requirements, creditor pressure, HMRC, banking, Personal Guarantees, director concerns and what action has already been taken.
This normally takes between 60 and 90 minutes.
Company Health Check
We then work through a structured review covering the principal areas likely to matter.
Risk & Action Report
The review produces a concise working report. Issues are divided into three categories.
The report is a practical management document, not a legal opinion or formal insolvency assessment.
Action & Wind-Down Plan
Where appropriate, we help prepare a practical action plan covering information still required, cash management, collection of debtors, stock, preservation of company assets, employee issues, customer commitments, supplier issues, contracts, Personal Guarantees, records, professional advice required and preparation for an IP meeting.
Any decision about continuing to trade where insolvency is suspected should be taken with appropriate professional insolvency advice.
IP-Ready Information Pack
If liquidation becomes necessary, we help organise information for the Insolvency Practitioner. Rather than trying to reconstruct events under pressure, directors have already begun assembling the relevant information and explaining significant decisions.
The objective is straightforward: a clear, organised and transparent handover.
